First, I want to point out…

You don’t just want to sign high-ticket clients. You want to sign high-ticket clients of high quality.

This is what a high-ticket client is looking for in a coach:

1) Someone who can help them achieve a specific transformation

Whether they want to scale their business, lose weight or overcome mindset blocks, high-ticket clients are highly motivated to achieve a specific transformation in their lives. If they believe that a coach can help them achieve that transformation, they are willing to invest.

What this means for you: Make sure you highlight the transformation you create for your clients – how you bring your clients from point A to point B. Also make sure to position yourself as an authority and go-to person in your niche. Show why you are the best coach to work with for your ideal client.

2) Someone who offers VIP experiences

High-ticket clients value VIP experiences. When they invest in a coach, they highly value the fact that this is an offer not everyone can or will join. They value paying a lot of money to be treated like a VIP client, whether that means working with you 1:1 or being in one of your more exclusive group spaces.

What this means for you: If you don’t already have VIP offers – consider adding one to your product suite. Otherwise, start talking about your offers as exclusive, closed spaces in which you work with selected clients. You don’t take on just any client – you only take on a very specific type of client.

3) Someone they vibe with

High-ticket clients are highly selective on who they work with. They don’t care about 99% of other coaches out there and won’t choose a coach solely based on their testimonials and client results. They’ll choose someone they vibe with.

What this means for you: Show up as your true, authentic self. Your ideal clients can only find you if you show who you are. Also make sure to work on your own mindset and energy. If you level up, the type of clients you attract will also level up.

4) Someone who embodies what they teach

There are a lot of coaches out there that are preaching something on social media, but aren’t embodying what they teach. If a money mindset coach isn’t attracting any money into their lives but is preaching money mindset work to make a lot of money…clearly, there’s a disconnect. That kind of disconnect can be felt, both by the coach and by the client.

Meanwhile, if you truly embody what you teach, you become a sort of role model and people will want to pay you a lot of money to be around you.

What this means for you: Look at your current life and behavior, and see if there’s any disconnect. Look at your current social media content and ask yourself if you are truly embodying what you are preaching. Chances are if you work on yourself, you’ll start attracting higher-level clients.

5) Someone who speaks to them as the high-level individual that they are

High-quality clients are smart, and they want to be spoken to that way. Therefore, avoid “dumbing down” your content just because some marketing coach online told you what type of content will go viral. Most likely, your most viral content is not the type of content that attracts high-ticket clients to you.

What this means for you: When you create content, visualize that you are speaking to your highest-level, ideal client. Don’t speak down to them and don’t simplify your content too much – high-ticket clients will appreciate how high level your content is.
